As I monotoned, I use photos in my work process: I frequently photograph a house or building using my DSLR camera, I usually take about 3-4 different views of the building I am doing a painting of. I pick a desirable view to work from (sometimes with my client's input). This photo transferred to my computer so I can process the image. Within Photo Shop Elements I do all the cleaning up of any imperfections in the photo. Doing this work is impotent to me as I want to have a good platform for my drawing and finished painting.
